A native of the UK, his entire career he has been involved with sales, product development and marketing in Europe for key international active sports and outdoor apparel and accessory brands such as RAB, Columbia Sportswear, Mountain Equipment, Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd., Portland Outdoor Division and ASD Europe Limited.

Mark is especially tuned to the apparel market and calls outdoor “the best small industry out there”. In working with customers he takes on their problems “as if they were my own.” Mark is known for his people skills and good sense of humor. He is an advocate of keeping production in the Eurozone and strongly promotes local manufacturing.
An avid active and outdoor sports enthusiast and, when outside the office, Mark pursues rugby, hill walking, mountain trekking, climbing, camping and fly-fishing often with one or all of his four daughters. His philosophy is “work hard, play hard”. He has held a Joint Services Mountain Expedition Leaders Qualification—a rigorous UK military training course in winter mountaineering and has swum the English Channel.
